One of the first things you can do to empower yourself to start feeling better right away is to take charge of your nutrition. Food as medicine is still a novel concept for a lot of people but when it comes to healing autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto’s, it’s an amazing first step. Giving up gluten is usually how many Hashimoto’s sufferers begin the journey but for most the lifestyle changes don’t end there.

There are many ways to approach a thyroid-friendly diet geared toward healing autoimmunity, but frankly the huge volume advice can be overwhelming – especially when you’re dealing with fatigue or brain fog. Luckily, we’ve found a better, easier way to make the kind of diet changes that can kickstart healing.

We’re big fans of the Autoimmune Paleo diet because, as Dr. Izabella Wentz has found, 75% of people feel better when they implement the Autoimmune Paleo diet and some even achieve complete Hashimoto’s remission. Unfortunately Autoimmune Paleo has gotten a bit of a reputation for being monotonous, overly complicated, or challenging for those of us who aren’t chef-level competent in the kitchen. Judging by the comments we see on social media that reputation really turns a lot of people off!

But the fact is that people who try the Autoimmune Paleo diet as a way of treating Hashimoto’s symptoms like skin issues, headaches, fatigue, brain fog, stomach troubles, depression and anxiety often find unexpected relief – and a hugely supportive community of people ready to cheer them on.

The big question people often ask is “What can I eat?!” The answer is actually a lot!  We want to make eating for wellness easy for everyone looking for relief from Hashimoto’s symptoms, so we’re sharing Dr. Izabella Wentz’s simple, quick start guide that contains everything you need (14 days of breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks plus shopping lists) to get started on an autoimmune health diet.

We’ve done it ourselves and so we know changing your diet can make a big impact. Our hope is that once you see how much better you feel in two weeks, you’ll want to keep going until you are living your best possible life!
